After many wonderful years at the mall, we’ve made the tough decision not to host our Gift Wrapping Fundraiser this year due to limited volunteer availability. This was not an easy choice, and we want to thank everyone who has supported it year after year, your efforts made a real difference.
We’re excited to share that we’re trying something new this holiday season: Holiday Gift Sets - small, festive gift sets like cozy socks, cocoa mugs, and coffee sets that make perfect stocking stuffers or gifts.
We’ll be putting the first gift sets together for our Deck the Halls event next Tuesday, November 11, and we’re looking for a few helping hands to join us on Monday, November 10, from 2–4 PM at Danbury ReStore to assemble them.
Additional volunteer dates will be announced in mid-November for anyone who’d like to help but can’t make this session.

Homeownership is more than the homes we build. Homeownership also provides financial benefits that impact and contribute to the quality of life in greater Danbury. Throughout the region, affordable housing attracts families and individuals who will locate, work in, invest in, and contribute to the economic and civic life of our communities.
Our goal: Give people a chance to live in simple, decent homes they can afford – and sustain. We provide affordable homes built by volunteers with materials gifted by local businesses. Homes are sold below market rate with an affordable mortgage for working families who qualify.
